Top Six “No No’s”

One of my favorite internet marketing gurus, Ty Tribble, passed along some very pertinent tips he picked up at a conference presented by Casey Eberhart at Todd Falcone’s Live Event in Seattle.  Casey did an incredible talk on Facebook and online marketing and shared his five and a half Facebook No-no’s.

  1. No Sex
  2. No Religion
  3. No Politics
  4. No Sports
  5. No Negativity
  6. No Mac vs PC

Keep in mind that these suggestions are specifically geared towards people who are looking to use Facebook for business.

Casey’s main point is that people on Facebook don’t really care or want to hear about these topics or to say it another way, you will not convince someone to change their mind about these topics by posting on Facebook…you will mostly just make people mad or bored.

Do you agree with the list?  What has been your experience?
